To allow public access, anyone may access a meeting by telephone, Zoom, and/or the City of Norwalk YouTube channel. Specific instructions are below and on the meeting agenda.

Members of the public can use a telephone to call in, attend, listen and comment during public participation They will not be able to see any of the meeting participants. All participants are muted upon entering the meeting.
To speak, press * 9 on your phone to “raise your hand" electronically, and then * 6 to unmute when called on by the host of the meeting during the public comment section. Each meeting will use a unique Meeting/Webinar ID.

Upon written request not less than 24 hours prior to the meeting, a member of the public can request a physical location to attend this virtual meeting at City Hall.
Such a member of the public will be provided access to a telephone so that they can attend the meeting in real time. The member of the public can call in, attend,
listen and comment during the meeting. However, they will not be able to see any of the meeting participants. Each meeting will use a unique Meeting/Webinar ID, which will be provided to the member of the public. The dial-in information can also be found in the upcoming meeting list.

Members of the public who wish to "view the meeting live" and/or provide "live comments" can use the Zoom meeting platform by clicking on the "Zoom" link that is on the line with the meeting date and time. All participants will be muted upon entering the meeting. To speak, click the “raise your hand indicator” and you will called on by the host of the meeting during the public comment section.

Members of the public who wish to provide public comment are encouraged to submit those comments to the meeting staff person via email
in advance of the meeting. The meeting staff person can be found at www.norwalkct.org/calendar.aspx. For these comments to be included into
the record, they must be submitted by 12:00 p.m. the day of the meeting.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, the City of Norwalk will generally, upon request, provide appropriate aids and services leading to effective communication for qualified persons with disabilities so they can participate equally in the City of Norwalk's programs, services, and activities, including qualified sign language interpreters, documents in Braille, and other ways of making information and communications accessible to people who have speech, hearing, or vision impairments. The City of Norwalk will not place a surcharge on a particular individual with a disability or any group of individuals with disabilities to cover the cost of providing auxiliary aids/services.
If you require aids for communication in order to participate in a posted meeting, you may make your needs and preferences known to Marsha Elbourne, the City Clerk at melbourne@norwalkct.gov or 203-854-7704 as soon as possible, but preferably not less than two weeks prior to the meeting or event. The City of Norwalk will make every effort to accommodate your request if less notice is given.
